September mostly belonged to Denver. From Friday the 4th through Sunday the 6th, ACG Bass Camp turned the new RiNo shop into a trailhead, sending people out with scavenger cards to collect stamps from the businesses around us and bring them back for an ACG prize. A first look at the new space that doubled as an introduction to the neighborhood, which felt like the right way to arrive somewhere.
That Sunday, Shake Back Sunday ran across every location, and two of them stood out. Denver hosted games, gear, and giveaways at the new shop while Dallas filled up for One Piece x Nike reservations, locking in pairs and timeslots and keeping the energy going all day. The first-Sunday ritual has been a constant for a while now, and watching it hit every door while a brand new market held its own said something about how far it has traveled.
The middle of the month went out on foot. On the 19th, the Alex Zono x Brooks Ghost Trail got a proper introduction with a morning trail run in Boulder, then back to the shop with Cadence and Can’t Buy Cool Studios for happy hour, raffles, and a few surprises, all hosted by Denver Run Club.
Then Houston brought the ranch to the rooftop. The Politics x Timberland release came with longhorns, vintage Cadillacs, cold drinks, fresh ink, and designer Sauce Pan Dan in the building, celebrating two sides of Texas across the ‘Outlaw’ and the ‘Rodeo’. The city streets and the open range, and the people who live somewhere between them. Thank you to everyone who pulled up in September.
