The Vans OTW Chukka 49 Vibram takes a boot shape and builds it like a sneaker. Roughed suede covers the mid-top with contrast stitching running visible along every seam, and the foxing tape drops to black rather than the usual cream. Foam ADC handles the inside while Vibram supplies the outsole compound underneath the waffle tread. It wears easier than a chukka usually does.
