The Nike G.T. Future in Black takes the gloss all the way down with no color anywhere to break it, so the sculpted ridging reads purely as light moving across the shell. A matte cupsole underneath is the only surface that does not shine, which is what gives the silhouette its edge in a blacked-out make-up.
